DOF adds interest to a common object. I probably would have composed it as coming up from the lower right corner (same angle to the pen), which is admittedly more conventional.

I'd prefer a smooth background, I think, and softer lighting. Not sure about the composition but I have no idea what's the most interesting way to arrange such objects.

Wish I could have seen the moon turn red, but I live on the wrong coast for that . The moon is lovely and I like the faint light on the tower. It looks just a wee bit tilted to me, though, and compositionally it feels unbalanced. Still a very good image.

Hashtag, really? In case anyone wouldn't think of that in conjunction with the city? I'm officially old 'cuz that just seems weird to me.

Back to the image - nice sharpness on the foreground, especially that reflection, and a very hot city in the back. The bird is a nice addition.
