Oh, that's really, really sweet. Normally I'd want the pupils blacker but for an old girl this is perfect. Great expression and pose. Nit: would've liked the foreground to extend through the whole background so I'm not trying to figure out what else is back there.

Like the minimalist idea, but it looks like there is some crusty stuff coming out from the eye which I really want to wipe off! I'd also like the whiskers and eyelashes highlighted a bit more.

Nice detail on the face; the orange above the cat distracts from those lovely eyes a bit.

Good detail on the face; might have liked it better it I could see the rest of the dog on the left (less centered composition to take advantage of the light going from left to right).
