Great title; reminds me of a movie we used to watch when the kids were little about a robot who didn't want to be "disassembled." Sort of a poignant shot, really; makes me wonder if some poor guy gave a girl a rose and she shredded it and threw it at him!

Colors are great, actually. Lighting is lovely and the swirls and jags of light in the background are a complement to the still life of the flower.

It actually does look kind of leathery, which is interesting because I've never noticed that before or heard it called that. Nice composition and muted greens in the background.
