Don't Let Go!by jbsmithanaComment: Amazing timing on this capture! DOF is nice to keep the bee in great focus; a few bits of the flowers are in the same plane and detract a little. Overall uniqueness of the shot makes it stand out. |

Uphill Struggleby splidgeComment: Amazing detail, nice DOF, background sets off the ant well. One of my favorites :-) |

Vultureby Hye5Comment: Great detail! What kind of vulture is this, and is it young? I don't see vultures with fluffy white feathers like that around here. |

lill bird IIIby PhotoDaveComment: Not bad at all, you even have a catchlight in his eye. The DOF is complementary (surprisingly shallow for f/13) and the particular branch he's perched on has lots of angles for added interest. Might have gotten a little more detail in the white feathers with a lower ISO but really, this is quite nice! |

Battle Alleyby FairyWingsComment: Great effect with the dueling lights and the solitary guy in the cowboy hat. Tone and composition appeal to my imagination :-) |

Night Gameby EstimatedEyesComment: Great "make the view feel like he's there" image! Looks like Camden Yards, but then lots of the newer ballparks look alike. Fun shot. |

glass for waterby ptplummerComment: Good idea for this challenge. On my monintor this looks like it has too much light: sky and water are muddy instead of dark and lights on the house in the water are blown out which is amplified by their reflection. |
