Go Dog. Go!by neophyteComment: Nice action shot which suits the title. Love the ears and expression! Focus seems to be sharpest on the dog's hips and I would prefer it on the eyes; also DOF looks odd to me, as the foreground grass is pretty sharp but the dog's front legs, chest and shoulders are not, despite appearing to be the same horizontal distance from the camera and therefore in the same focal plane. Hope that makes sense ;-) |

Hop on Popby NobodyComment: Stop! Looks like the kids REALLY enjoyed this shot ;-) would prefer a plain background but this is a fun shot nonetheless. |

Cat In The Hatby cheegirlComment: Poor cat! Actually, kitten from the looks of it. Very cute concept. Nice choice of background; might have liked to see the whole hat even though it would emphasize the smallness of the cat, but this is still very cute. |

Thing 1 and the Catby joekentComment: This would be more interesting if the Cat's face was straightened out and the angle was such that I could see the characters' eyes clearly. |

Horton's Early Yearsby MarkComment: Aw, Horton was cute as a baby! I like the parallels in their trunks. I'd clone out the pole behind them as it's too close in color to the elephants and distracts a bit, and maybe crop even closer on the left and bottom since you don't have all of mom in the shot, anyway, and the baby is meant to be the focus of attention. |

Cat in Hatby emily212Comment: I hope the cat got LOTS of treats for posing in this getup! Fun shot; I would like it a bit better with a solid background ike a piece of cloth covering the wall and carpet, and a softer light so the shadows aren't so harsh. |

I Can Too !!!by Evil-ChihuahuaComment: I like the parallels in the book cover and scene; I would like this much better with even lighting. |

The Loraxby onejumpjohnnyComment: I would feel sad for this tree, except that it appears to have been diseased (some sort of oozy fungal thing on the right). A picture of an apparently healthy tree stump, maybe even this one from a different perspective, would better represent the theme of the book to me. |
