I see the idea, I think, but am distracted by the tilt of the composition and what seems to me to be random positioning of the figure. This one might have worked better straightened and cropped to put the figure on the rule of thirds IMO.

The kids are STILL living at home?! And here I keep thinking they'll grow up and move out eventually. Picture is a bit noisy but I like the hint of a smile onher face.

Not very clear what it is you're contemplating jumping into, or onto. Could be a pool or the great abyss. Makes it hard for me to relate to the picture when I don't really know what I am looking at. Sorry.

Nice composition. Very bright, almost washed-out, and the sky is very flat, but there's probably not much you could have done to fix that in Basic.
