Poor pumpkin :-( That looks like a perfectly round specimen. I know a lot of people who would love to find it ... or would have before today. Soft focus kind of makes it seem more vulnerable.

Not sure how I feel about the harsh lighting. The shadows are kind of fun for Halloween, but from a photographic perspective I'm put off by the large areas of blown highlights.

Those balloony things are starting to dominate every holiday! I would prefer shallower DOF here so the competing elements are muted. Looking at it some more ... the shadow on the balloon could have been a fun thing to play with and emphasize for something different. Just a thought.
