What a pretty bird! Some sort of kingfisher? I'd crop tighter on the right to keep the bird from being so centered.

Looks like a fascinating place. It feels a little off-kilter but I can see the stairs and openings aren't parallel which makes it hard to decide what should be horizontal! I might have given up and taken an angled shot ;-)

Very cute! I love that his/her eyes appear to be glued to the door handle in expectation of it opening. Shadow is a nice touch to add interest.
