Confused clownby t3nchiComment: Confused viewer. Why is he partially made up? Why isn't he wearing a shirt? What kind of clown is he, and why is he confused? He is gently lit and the angle and crop are nice, but the whole story is not here. That's OK; it doesn't harm the viewer to wonder a bit, if that's what you want us to do. |

Pierrot, the clownby BudyaComment: This is going to sound ghoulish but the indentation the head is making and the little bit I can see of the background cloth looks like the inside of a coffin! Nice stark image, though. |

Clownby BoldgraphyComment: Colorful, nice job on the lighting. I'd go for a less distracting background, I think. |

Little clownby rema15Comment: Cute prop. I don't think the background adds much; I'd move the model farther away and use a shallower DOF to minimize it. |

Ol' Beady-Eyesby GeneralEComment: That looks really ancient with the cracked paint. Lighting is OK but I feel like this needs something to enliven it. Different perspective, angled composition ... something. |

Dreams of Clownhoodby jaysonmcComment: Not working for me; that's one of those distance-measuring devices being used by a Park Service ranger-type. If it looked like he was giving any consideration to balancing on it I'd buy into it but he looks pretty expressionless from this angle. As an image (apart from the challenge) it's OK. A little noisy, composition is OK; wish the bird was watching him or something to add a little more interest. |

Class Clownby JetComment: OK idea and pose works, though I'd prefer the whole of the foot in the foreground to be in the shot. The lighting is harsh; maybe move the model farther from the wall and use some fill light or bounce the flash to soften it. |
