Nice pastels. A bit more black foreground than I would like to see; I'd crop much tighter (which would also eliminate the bright white parts of the sky).

Eww; slugs. Doing a Yin/Yang symbol, sorta'. They're certainly not destroying plants in my garden so I guess this qualifies as peaceful ;-)

To me, blood and death do not equal peace, even if the bird has gone on to his eternal rest. This particular image conveys violence with all the blood, and the selective desat just emphasizes the gore. I feel much more uncomfortable than peaceful gazing at it. Technically it is an effective image; I just don't find that it meets the challenge topic at all for me.

Nice color on the flowers, and the one seems to be caressing the others on the left. Compositionally, I would prefer the one on the far right cropped out and a little more left in the shot on the bottom.
