Florida Critterby MelonMusketeerComment: I love the look of ancient wisdom in her eye. She has a quiet dignity about her in this shot that's lovely to me. |

Poisedby JedusiComment: Another perfect shot from you! Good thing you didn't let that nice pose go to waste ;-)))
I don't usually see these; I get the white-breasted ones all the time at my feeders, though. I especially like it when they cling to the bark and run partway down the tree upside down to get to where they're going. |

wildthing4.jpgby icu1965Comment: Yep, getting the tongue makes this a much more interesting shot. Although seeing his pattern through the water is pretty interesting, too. Do you have the resolution for a tighter crop? That would eliminate the wood, which isn't nearly as cool as the snake and his tongue. |

wildthings3.jpgby icu1965Comment: Wonder what they were doing out there. They don't look like the type of birds to be eating anything from the water, or swimming. Maybe they just like hanging out and watching the water go by. |

IMG_0058Gull.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Cool (so to speak) composition. The water sprays are a soft frame and pretty much hide the building in the background. |

Chickadee.jpgby ivale28Comment: Those first couple of shots look like he's a little uncoordinated. Is it a juvenile? It's a nice series, and I like how you placed the most vertical shot in the middle. |

Master of All I Surveyby JuliBocComment: Anything that eats beetles would be welcome in my garden. Not sure about the toenail polish fetish ;-)
Really cute tail, I must say. I can just see a little dance line of them bopping along to your iPod, tails entwined. |

Scented Rainby colorcarnivalComment: I love those raindrops looking ike they're falling off the flowers on the right. Great color and clarity and really "feels" like spring. |

The Guzzling Goslingby JedusiComment: Wow, this is just perfect. I like a lot of your gosling shots (how could I not?) but this one is ... perfect. |

Deadly Embraceby PrismComment: Ambitious little spider. How does he eat something bigger than himself? Oh, wait, I have an idea ... I don't think I really want to follow it up.
Spider webs are bad enough; a jumping spider would totally freak me out! |
