Double Troubleby k9logicComment: How adorable! And decidedly trouble ;-) Background is a little busy; next time I'd crop closer or, better still, bring out a sheet or something to drape over the chair and deck rail to make a uniform background. |

Two Fawnsby riversongComment: Great ears on those two! Nice job considering it looks like you had to shoot through a lot of foreground foliage. It came out kind of dreamy. |

Boooby jtf6agentComment: Extraordinary moment to capture (assuming those are live critters)! The color palette is terrific with the grass and the cat's green eyes, and all else in gray and white. DOF and perspective is perfect. But ... the animals are not all that similar ... two gray mammals, I guess? There are other shots that nicely capture two more obviously similar subjects so this isn't getting my top score, but still, a very interesting shot. |

Cowboy & Horse vs Calf - A Cutting Eventby vtruanComment: Two .. what, running critters? I think there are other images that better fit the challenge. But this is a very cool stop-action shot. The background is a little busy and competes with the subjects for my attention. |

whateversby ralphComment: Pompom deely boppers ;-) Her expression is adorable and this is nicely colorful. I'd prefer that the focus on both deely boppers be equally sharp; it looks like the one on the left is softer and since it appears closer to the camera that bugs me a bit. Could be a motion blur or not enough DOF. |

Spiralsby scooter88Comment: Nice composition, and I like the subtle reflections on the shell on the right. A bit more of that would be nice as this seems a little flat to me. |

The creeping Jaws of mountain fogby HighNoonerComment: Very dramatic sky and nice light up there. But I'm not entirely certain what the doubled thing is here. The fog? It looks like it's one fog bank that extends along both ridges. So the ridges, maybe? Still a stretch for me. I can sort of see the "jaw" idea from your title. This might have more impact without the building and trees on the left, maybe by moving to the right some to take the shot, and cropped more tightly on the jaw part and the clouds. JMO. |
