Screwby MiepComment: So it is. And if that's a railroad track and the screw came from it, is there about to be a problem? |

Pinkby lyn100Comment: Nice shapes in the background and subject is nice and sharp; I think the frame is a bit much for such a delicate subject. |

Moment of Impactby dssagent88Comment: Pretty sure this was not a real moment of impact, but good setup to mimic one. Excellent concept to illustrate shallow DOF, where the OOF areas provide significant context without overwhelming the subject. |

My Boy @ 3 days oldby kevip6Comment: Aw; very sweet little tootsie :-) Enough detail to make out the rest of him which adds nice perspective. I would have cropped tighter on the left to get rid of the distracting dark bit there. |

Pollenatedby marboComment: Love the little grains of pollen on his head, and his little furry hairdo. Very nice detail. Background and flower colors appear oversaturated on my screen. |

Pick Meby PikkelComment: The shapes and lines are interesting. I like the shadow of the pick but might have moved the primary light around some and used another light or two to minimize the brightness and reflections (and even shadows) in the rest of the shot. |

Bonsaiby phloverComment: Like the shapes of the OOF leaves and stems in the background. |

Mountain climberby gysComment: Too cute :-) Nice sharp focus on the eyes, where it should be. Looks a bit bright to me but it's not blown out, just not as rich as it could be colorwise. IMO. |

Three Seconds on the Shoshone Riverby noranekoComment: Nice finish, though I would have placed it higher. One of my few 10s in this challenge.
Oh, I just noticed the person in the corner! Hope it wasn't anyone you knew, since you probably had to kill him for getting in your gorgeous shot in a place where he couldn't be merely cropped ;-) |
