PERFECT composition and exposure. The swirling lines lead my eye up to the summit, which points to the sun in that gorgeous blue sky. A lovely study of the beauty in nature.

I love wild roses. A little more loose and blowzy than the very formal tearoses ;-) You caught a nice stage of bloom here, with the blossoms and buds still sparse enough to stand out from the greenery. Nice DOF, too :-)

I'm not sure what you were trying to show me. The background is in better focus than the dog (who needs a nail clip) and is quite cluttered. The dog is tied out, not running free, and what I presume is his water bowl is overturned and he's panting, which makes me want to get the poor thing some water on such a sunny day. I feel sorry for him. The fact that he's not in focus just adds to my feeling that he isn't a priority for anyone. And since this has made me so thoughtful, I can't just dismiss it as an OOF pet portrait. It disturbs me.
