Summer Gardenby PaulComment: Tough to catch a bee in flight! Motion blur in the wings is nice but the rest of him looks like it suffers from too much noise reduction. |

White Peacockby soonComment: Cool bird! Could use a bit of a catchlight in the eye to give him some life. |

"Nereid"by tmorninglory96Comment: I do like the hair swirling in the water.
Nereids are supposed to be friendly and helpful, which is not something I would guess from this image. At first I thought she might be preparing to drown herself a la Ophelia. The pose with the hand holding the arm ... the way its cropped it's hard to tell if that's her hand (I think it is) or someone else's restraining her for some reason. |

Morning Gloryby AlainComment: Love the dreamy mist rising off of the water. I wonder if a graduated ND filter would have gotten a bit more color in the sky? Still a lovely image. |

Light through the treesby keriboiComment: Interesting light on the scene. I like the gradient in the sky.
The sun is just a bit overexposed so its rays are not as well defined as I'd like. Tough exposure to get, I know! Think I'd try a different crop, too, so the sun wasn't centered and that line of frost going against the rays on the right was cropped out. It looks like the horizon isn't level and the trees are at different angles so it's hard to tell if this was a hill or a slightly tilted camera angle. |
