I'm having a hard time calling two sails a "couple", but ok...... However, I can NOT see anything odd about them.
Challenge topic aside, I like the photo.... something very pleasing about the simplicity, the colors and the diagonals.

Hmm... he is pulling her hands away - he doesn't want to be part of this, so we don't really have a "couple". You certainly managed to keep my attention with this one, I've been studying this for ages :-)
I'm not fond of the crop on his face. I think it would have been better to show the whole face, or none of it.
I like the colors of the skin tones against the black.

Not an odd couple as such, but a couple looking or acting odd - so that's on topic :-) What a perfectly charming photo. I like the contrast of the pretty feminine outfits and props vs the very teenage expressions on their faces (great eye contact, too!).
