Love the light tent.... I have one, too.

The photo is beautiful, even though I have a love/hate relationship with that leaf. I do think it should be in the photo, but perhaps not that high up.
However, it does provide the third point for the triangle which is always a pleasing composition.
Guess I'd have to play with it all to see if there are better ways.

Nice idea. I wonder if you could have pulled that "collar" off the stem, I keep wishing it wasn't there. I like how the upper part disappears into darkness, it works well with the subject.

I like the idea and the angle. Don't care for the high key look. The shallow DOF would have been awesome if it had included BOTH hands, but blurred the rest. Still nice, though, I gave it a 6.

Afternoon Reflections

I don't see how this photo could be real. I have looked at it so many times, but I still can't make sense of it.

There are two fundamental problems I have with it:

The person's shadow on the right has a reflection in the water, yet the tree's shadow on the left does NOT.

Even more impossible is this: 100% of the shadow is firmly visible against reddish embankment, yet the shadow's reflection shows head and shoulders against blue sky!!!

I tried once before to get an explanation for this, but never got an answer :-( Guess I'll have to keep wondering about it.
