I really really like this idea for this challenge, but the photo is.... well..... boring :-( Unfortunately I am not sure what to suggest to improve it.

Thanks Robert. I realize that SOME of the lousy score has to do with people not liking the photo.

However, I am convinced that at least some of it is due to
A) badly calibrated monitors that didn't show enough detail and
B) some people obviously not understanding the word "amoeba".

And those two contributors upset me.

I"m not normally into b+w, least of all for baby (and flower) shots, but this looks great. My only complaint is that for THIS CHALLENGE, there should be a bit more emphasis on the mother. Lovely photo, gave you a 9.
