Beacon Cove

Hey guys,

Thanks (as always) for the comments and support.

I must say I'm very surprised how that Beacon came out as lit as it did - and nope - no post processing on the beacon! In fact this shot is almost straight from the camera - a little sharpening and perhaps a smidge of curves.

It's not far from shore and off to the left is a restaurant complex built out over the water (probably show you that for Day 16) - I think a light source from behind there is responsible, but I never saw it and it didn't show up naturally until I took this long exposure.

Thanks again for your support and comments - REALLY enjoying the challenge!

WHAT - -20??? I simply CANNOT imagine this - and if I did, I'd be imagining my camera and I going into hybernations NOT venturing out to take such STUNNING photographs.

My hat is off to you and your willingness to push yourself out of the warmth to photograph!
