Amazing sharp crisp image. A little disappointed that the image was cropped at the top to exclude the whole fresco in golds. I guess you had to make a decision how much to fit in and you wanted the other end of the church in too.

Hydrant in the night

A bit too much going on in this image. The hydrant idea was cool, but the location is 'too busy'. My eye can't decide whether to be drawn to the moody sky, the flash of tail-lights or the building behind.

Also I'm wondering if hydrants in your country aren't red? If so this image would have done with a bit of a kick in the red department using selective colours (if you use photoshop)

It's great you've fitted so much into this image, but the shake suggests to me that no tripod was used, which makes the image suffer.

The lighting was not your friend here. In addition I'm guessing you may not have had the time to use your tripod, so we end up viewing a very blurry animal.

Good idea but the lighting is way off and the colours distorted byt he redish tinge. I would have cropped the bottom 1/3 of the image, tried fill flash and worked to remove the red with selective colours (if you have photoshop)

The lighting was not your friend in this instance. Too harsh on one side, to dark on the other. Also the focal poin should have been the face, not the top of the pole. Nice feathers though.
