I guess this was a bit too subtle for the masses, but I still say it's hilarious...clearly the funniest one in the challenge. also a well taken shot.

When I'm the boss of everything, photos like this will win ribbons.

@Alecia - the signing hands were done with a long exposure (10 secs I think) and four burst from a flash gun. I changed letters in the dark. it was a b***h moving my arm just the right amount each time. Then i just layered and blended in PS. Original shot of the hands was taken for the communication challenge - you can see it here if you wanna.

@Thamer - This is an amalgamation of me and my lifelong friend Tony. He's the one in the chair. I took some pics of him one night to play with some lighting ideas, then when the Impressionism challenge came up I started thinking about other styles of art. My personal favourite is Surrealism, so i was loosely trying to be Dali-esque with this. I've done a few versions of them...this is by no means a finished work. I was just posting it for Tony to see.

He thinks I've lost it. I'm beginning to think I'm finally finding it :)

creative. like the concept. nice poke at some creative lighting too, though that hot spot on the paper bugs me a bit. still a very nice entry, one of my top 3 so far.

i'd hang this in my living room. beautiful. some of the highlights in the snow could be toned down a little, but still a solid shot. one of my top three so far...

Awesome. well done. if you did this all by yourself, you quite the contortionist. my elbows get in the way and i can't seem to hide the rest of my other hand.

the thing i like best is that you've actually composed a nice photo as well as had a great idea. the lighting is great, the sharpness/focus is spot on, and the duotone treatment is good (though a little pink for my tastes - still v.nice).

all in all a well done shot, and the best i've seen in this challenge so far.

water droplets, crayons, flowers, oversaturated, oversharp...where's the bug macro? if you coulda perched a dead bug onone of the crayons, it'd get a ten. instead i'll punish you with a 9. You should be ashamed. ;)
