daisy impressionby ursulaComment: where's the impressionism challenge when you need it. I haven't been particularly moved by the flower macros in this challenge, but I have to tell you this is phenomenal. I really hope this becomes a print when you're done...I think you'd make some sales with it. Beautiful texture and subtle bokeh. the focus on the front petal isn't perfect (or maybe your sharpening method added a few artifacts that obscures it some), but close enough for me. Very very nice.

I am a hairy man; therefore, i shed.by jayrodComment: Perhaps the most creative take on a keyboard shot i've seen yet. i was actually dreading a bunch of keyboard and mouse-type shots, but this really doesn't qualify as one of those. it's a hair shot :)
lighting is a little harsh...could have stopped it down a little to lose the blown out bits. love the concept though, so i forgive these little details. well done. |

Hawthorn Shieldbugby WarbyComment: to heck with the anti-bug people...this is great. is that sand on his snout? his eyes look like a strawberry :)

A Hover Flyby GolferDDSComment: a few wierd artifacts on the eyes and around the head. one of the downfalls of 150kb file size limit. would love to see the original, cuz this is awesome. i don't care what the anti-bug people say...i love it. |

Road to the Tetons by postoakinversionComment: i really like how the sun catches the peaks. I like the brooding sky for contrast, though i might like to see a little more contrast in the foreground (maybe by dodging the highlights a little) The road leads my eyes nicely to the mountains. well done. |

...to the sea, I raced the setting sun, only to find the sea waiting for me...by SkipComment: the thumb doesn't do this justice. at first glance it seems a little washed out, but once i see the full image it really grabs me. the sharpness is excellent which makes it even more impressive that you froze the action as well as you did, given that you must have used a very small aperature. makes me wanna go play in the ocean :) |

The Man on the Phoneby redmoonComment: i'm interested to see how you achieved the motion in this. the image as a whole is edgy and creative. full marks for creativity. keeping the person as sharp as you did must have been a feat with the longer exposure. very well done. |

photo iconsby aplomb76Comment: one of my highest rated entries. fabulous concept and well executed. There's a weird glow between the arm and the books, but it doesn't really detract from the image as a whole. like the high-key/shallow depth combination. |
