DSC_7503.jpgby PedroComment: Indeed I was - i used a small blue gel from behind and to her right, along with the main softbox. no particular reason for it other than i wanted to add a little more colour to a fairly lifeless set. :) |

DSC_8262.jpgby PedroComment: not even close - perched on the bow of a 10-foot water taxi, waves tossing me all over the place...wide angle lens, pointed in the general direction of the Main Attraction and bursted about 6 shots.
I exposed for the sky and dodged the details back into the rocks and water, which were modestly underexposed.
I don't bracket that often either...i shoot raw exclusively, so occasionally i'll layer multiple exposures of the same file if I'm trying to preserve the integrity of it. |
