The Five Second Spectacularby just-marriedComment: Obviously this is, strictly speaking, a candid shot. And it is nicely done, technically. What keeps me from scoring it highly it is that the image would essentially be the same if the subject knew that you and the camera were there or not. The subject is there to be looked at and (potentially) photographed, so the "candid" nature of it dimnishes in my eyes. An example of "candid" that I'd like better in this context would be an image of spectators enjoying the performance.4 sjgleah |
