Lovely shot, but IMO does not give enough detail on the entire watch to be effective in a catalog. For an advertisement - close to perfect.

Yes, it is very funny how much it looks like a person portrait! Put a cigarette in his hand and might look a bit like Violinist123's first one!
I find the graininess a bit much in this one, and the smear in the bottom right corner is quite distracting, but his eyes are wonderful. Did you try any noise reduction software?

This is a much better angle for the hat - it doesn't cast as much of a shadow on the eyes.
I find the background a bit distracting, although I don't think you could have placed it much better - cutting just above the shoulders I think was the best choice.

I find the overexposed vest/underexposed eyes a bit much. Maybe some selective brightness/contrast or dodging/burning might have made the image more pleasing?

Don't you wish it was more socially-acceptable to carry a reflector to weddings? (well, I do anyways!)
I think the posing is good, but the face seems underexposed.

This feels wrong to criticize such accomplished photographers!

Well you certainly nailed the focus :)
I like how the hair conceals the right eye, thereby drawing the focus to the left. I also like the compliments of the green/orange of the shirt/background.

I guess my only criticism would be the somewhat flat lighting, but that was out of your control. I guess her skin really is that perfect!

Oh, I wish this placed better - I gave it an 8 - it has such a lovely feel to it.
