stair steppersby grigrigirlComment: Had to tell you this shot was awesome. It says New Orleans. The triangular diagonal composition is perfect with the piano keys and walking feet in the scene. Very jazzy. Can't believe this scored so low. I guess it was because of the right angle thing, but I think the angles do play a large enough role in the composition for it to be appropriate. Keep up the excellent work. |

Broken Homeby NazgulComment: Excellent shot Nazgul. Just wanted to welcome you to the 4th place club. Bet you're frustrated right now. I got 4th place on the first photo I ever submitted here. That was months and months and months and months ago. I haven't done better since, still no ribbons for me. :( I wish you better luck after your 4th place finish than I had. Keep up the good work. |

Morning Angelby ozdickComment: Great shot! Impressive balance of the light; I like how much of the statue is still visible out of the shadows yet the sunrise has a lot of color as well. |

Inside Looking Out by connieComment: This wins the award for the cutest thing I think I've ever seen on DPC. If this doesn't win a ribbon, I'm a complete fool! |

Only One Thing on His Mindby kosmikkreeperComment: This wins for the most creative interpretation of the challenge. The image itself is very good too, but I find the color you chose for the duotone rather unappealing. The framing with the zipper is perfect. 9 |

Practice to Deceiveby crabappl3Comment: great image. One of my favorites. This is really well lit and exposed. I'm impressed with how clearly you managed to show the spiderweb. The sepia is a nice choice as well. |

"Me Look'in at You Look'in at Me"by tfarrell23Comment: I find this photo mysterious and appealing. I keep coming back to it and raising the score. Great work. I like the lines, contrasts, lighting, and perfect imperfections of the whole thing. |

Web Designerby SonifoComment: Awesome shot! Awesome for the challenge too. Hope this gets a ribbon. This would look really great in color (or colored in PS if it was washed out to begin with). I can imagine it very vibrant with a perfectly blue sky and red and yellow bars and stuff. This rocks. |

A Mother's Loveby BobsterLobsterComment: This is a truly lovely shot and I am sure the models will love it (I assume they are really mother and son and I want to assume that they are your wife and son, but i don't want to be assuming too much ). It's wonderfully beautiful and the soft focus fits prefectly. It is also a unique take on the challenge. I can see the inner emotion of love really coming out in the scene. Great job. |
