Beachcomberby BobsterLobsterComment: Bobster! Awesome photo. This is one of the best I've seen on here yet. Shame you couldn't submit it to a challenge. Still, you've managed to gain enough publicity to get you 10 favorites on it already! Wait, make that 11! |

Yellowstone National Park, 2075by dsidwellComment: A cynic's view, naturally! LOL. Good statement. I loved this photo in terms of the meanings created by the photos you put together. I would have given this a 10 but I only gave it a 9 as there was something very unrealistic looking about it (whereas it could have looked very realistic). Perhaps it was the placement of the city on such an abrupt higher angle. Great work though, I was very impressed by the image itself and the thought process behind it. |

Dull afternoon at the Museum with four bored clones.by jjbeguinComment: I knew this was yours. I'm back as I promised to add this to my favorites. It seems that I have no idea what I'm talking about but I still think this should have gotten a ribbon. You never cease to amaze me. I was really surprised with your movie submission. I thought it was excellent and never would have suspected it was yours. I love to see a range in a persons work and your portfolio is a great example. |

Togetherby jimmythefishComment: I'm back to add this to my favorites. I think this should have placed higher, although 10th is nothing to complain about. It was nice to see a traditional photograph amongst the digital art. This was my favorite interpretation of the challenge by far. Keep up the good work. |

Early Birds get the Best Seatsby SonifoComment: Hey, I thought this was yours cause of the color. I was right! Anyway, this image is really nice. I thought it met the challenge fine. I'm certainly not blind like the rest of em! The main flaw I saw in this photo was the compositional placement, which I am sure was intentional, but just bothered my eye a little. I'm referring to the centeredness of the seats and the horizontal lines in them where the backs are connected and the pillars holding up the roof as contrasted by the position of the seated people. I feel like my eye is being led on a strange path that is supposed to be straight but isn't from the bottom center to the top center and then forced to the right. This power of controlling the eye is a good thing, but in this case the leading lines seem to be drunk. :) Well, just my opinion. Sorry for the long critique. Hope it's well taken. The photo is! (after careful consideration I place all blame on the person who constructed those bleacher seats.) |
