I like the FX on this one too. It seems a tad soft, but that's really okay. I lost a bunch of images to the slow shutter speeds and no tripod. LOVE the tones!

Good lighting, good colors, love the negative space......I agree the fence sucks, but it's not like you could have taken it out. I like the image very much overall.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good image and I like it, BUT.....the contrast seems a bit heavy on the snow and the alders do detract from the fence as the subject. That said, I do like that the fence(s) complement rather than dominate the image.
