You most likely went too far with the radius/threshold controls.....try carefully backing them down and the haloing will diminish. You might als try to utilize your color balance tool as that can help as well as a correction for the effect.

I still like it; that it's a picture of a pictuere doesn't bother me in the slightest.......it's still a delightful and warm composition.
