Monkey Trapby jgriecoComment: Cool! A neat idea... I wonder how it would have looked with a different point of view? Perhaps if you had shot the vase and hand strait on, instead of from a top view? A nice shot though! |

These Eyesby scmaxfieldComment: Well, I don't really like the fact the light is very bright right on her nose, but everything else is beautiful! I love the details, and the shallow DOF. |

Gimme Some Candyby patio127Comment: This is nice! I like that you converted it to black and white - it has just the right amount of highlights and shadows. Perfect!
I don't really understand why pet images are voted down, either. My theory, however is this: A lot of new users here may not really know exactly what to shoot. Then, "oh, my kitty cat!" and so they enter a shot that's not really all that great. So, perhaps the voters have seen so many not very good pet photos, they just autimatically give you a bad vote and move on without really looking at the photo. :( I've had that same problem... Photos of my cat that I REALLY liked were give an average or below average score.
Anyways, nice shot! |

blue eyeby k4ffyComment: Okay, now I'm really lost. A picture of the London eyes gets a ribbon. Then this one (which maybe isn't AS good, but is still pretty good!) gets attacked for being 'unoriginal.' It's so confusing... I absolutely do not understand the voters. :) Oh well. This is a beautiful picture. I am always a sucker for blue lights!
I also love the way the path glows with the lights! Message edited by author 2007-04-18 13:48:31. |
