Lieutenant Tomby QuigleyComment: I dont' see a lot that I like in this photo. It looks more like a snapshot to me than anything. composition feels wierd with what looks like a crooked horizon and man standing straight up. the tree behind him is a distraction. Overall, just not a great photo. 5. |

Mid Summer Faunaby neophyteComment: She is pretty, and look at the size of those ears. I do however wish she were a bit lighter and the background a bit darker. 6. |

Mona Lisa Smileby NobodyComment: While Ia m sure that some people will love the lighting, others will not. I personnaly like the lighting, but I don't like the pose. I don't like how the eyse strain to meet the camera the way they do. It causes her left eye to be eclipsed and that isn't what I like to see.
Still a nice phot that a little head twist and eye straightening could really help.

A vibrant Nileby HighNoonerComment: Horizon looks titled. Nobody is on the boat to give the image vibrance. did they all slide off the screen and land on my desk from the crookedness?
Sorry, but in a free study with advanced you should fix items like this.
4.
Edit to add:
After looking at the photo again, and this time in more detail than before as I was told maybe my first assessment was inacurate through a PM, I see there are more flaws than I had originally seen. The image is very noisey. Especially around the lights on the bridge. Composition could use some work. The boat is the main subject, but it has been cut off form the rest of the photo.
After further review I see that my 4 was too generous. Therefore I would vote this a 3. But since my initial comment was met with an insult by PM, I will vote how my heart really feels about this photo. 1!
Well the emails over my comment continue.....this is what I received from Mr. Highnooner:
Looool I guessed you right. I think you are having too much dog soup in SK
What a racist comment to make. You don't see me calling you a terrorist because you live in the middle east. Why would you think I eat dog soup? |

By the drowning poolby LalliSigComment: Wow, this is a powerful image. Even down to the way the wind is whipping the water in the background. Well done here except for the small balck specs. Dust on the lens? Or something flying in the air. Either way it takes my vote of 9 down to a 7.
Edit. Seeing that those are flies around her, I am bumping the score back up to a 9 where it belongs. |

Fragileby silverscreenComment: Very nice. Those wings look fragile indeed. Lighting is a bitt too bright on the body though.....7 |

Sunset Cityby EssAreDubyaComment: Woud be much nicer with some detail and lighting in the foreground. the building on the far right should be cropped out. 5 |

Glow in the Darkby freakin_hilariousComment: I can see this. But it isn't my favorite photo. I think a little better execution could have turned these flowers into something spectacular, given the lighting. Overall, I would say this is a 5 in my book. |
