Aren't cactus flowers amazing. Especially coming from something as forbidding as a cactus. Those lovely delicate green/yellow colors are very eye-catching. The only cactus flower I know is the night-blooming Cereus & while this bears an intereresting resemblance...it's not that. It looks Tall, Arizona-tall.

The best thing about shooting outdoors is that awesome natural light & the green BG. WOW. This is beautiful. BTW, if you're going to be out for a while, it pays to take a double dose of vitamin B an hour or so ahead of time. Your body will get rid of the excess vitamin B in sweat & it makes your skin smell terrible to mosquitoes, gnats, flies, fleas, & ticks. FYI.
