I wish there were comments. But I also respect the lack of comments. From reading what other street photogs have to say I have come to realize that it is often a matter of picking the context & then sitting in ambush until the right subject walks into the frame. It always looks so accidental, I never realized.

I noticed the floor first. For me this is less about the endless perspective & more about that floor. Maybe because for me, on this monitor, the shadow detail is lost.

I greatly admire this style of art & have never been any good at it. Reminds me of the Floating World of Ukiyo-E, which I adore. A couple of nit-picks, though--the black portholes seem to tilt out at the top & the sea-foam at the bow looks more like clouds.

Hi June. On your profile page this one caught my eye because the rain seems curved. I didn't see the desat right away. I like this for the relationships between the water, the tulips, & the light.

The thing that I miss, when I'm working on the screen, is the bounce of light off the white paper thru the paint. If I was painting this on paper, I would've used dry brush on it in the grey areas to let some of the white paper show. The screen has the advantage of backlight, so your background color washes have a nice glow to them in this series.
