Superb botany shot that also effectively captures the life of this gorgeous flower. If only the illustrations in books were so good. Lovely portrayal of the diffused light found in the shade where rhodies do so well. I appreciate the combination of soft shadows and crisp detail. The little hits of yellow are delightful. And it's so clean!

Don't you like the strobe effect on the light trails? I do, but I don't know why it happens, exactly, except that it seems to have something to do with how fast you're moving the camera. Very nice.

If you want to have some more fun, replace the black cloth with a couple of reflecting surfaces. Wrinkled silver mylar is perfect. I love this. The centralized starting-point adds the illusion of a focal point & the colors are energetic. more! we want more!

The oncoming headlights can be a problem. I might be nuts, but I don't see overexposure, I see white light. High energy, like lightening.
