Magnolias! That soft pink is wonderful. And that green, too. And the way the grey twigs support the FG & the BG. If the bud on the L was in focus, I'd give it a 10.

The attraction here for me is the way the BG interacts w/the FG, esp in the thumb. Click it open & it has a whole new charm, reminding me of Degas' weary ballet dancers.

So, you dug a shallow hole for your camera? "D Snowdrops look very good against that rich blue sky. Nice detail, too. You can diffuse the sunlight with a white umbrella (I do that sometimes to avoid hot spots) the only ones that bother my eye are th eones on the breen parts.

I'm probably a minority of one but I like the cold bright white buds, it looks like they have their own light. Nice BG too. It captures the curiously merciless yet fragile quality of spring light.
