This is one of those lightly haunting shots for me. I can tell there's a personal, emotional story. But there's no way for me to know what it is. Without your comments I would have to make up everything. What motivated the hug. Why are they alone on a park bench. Who is the photog in relation to the kids. Is it candid, accidental good luck that got the shot. One of the main charms for me is the sky, the clouds above the bridge, almost no clouds below the bridge. And the way the cars just peep over the edge. Like time stopped for the photog, for a moment.

I've been thinking about it. These are tough shots to appreciate properly, I have to daydream with my eyes open. The horizontal crop with the vertical motion allows that mysterious darkness to join the composition. At first I thought 'there's nothing there.' I can't even imagine this printed on paper.

As I was browsing the thumbnails, looking for something interesting, my eye was caught by the beautiful tones in this. I like the title & the way it fits this comp. The leaves seem to be travelling. As I linger to enjoy this, my thoughts travel, too. 10,for all the places I went in my thoughts.
