bullseyeby sfaliceComment: Wow. Where were you in the 60's?!! I having trouble blinking my eyes! The purple corners really make this comp, IMO. Well done! |

Then It Is Artby namComment: The leading lines lead to the sky & I don't see the sky as 'nothing,' so I don't have a problem there. I like the primary colors, which flatten the detail, turning the skyscrapers into cartoon facades. I'm going to guess that the 5-and-below scores were for the primary colors, if for no other reason than that they are not literally realistic. |

Pole_IMG_5075-FBdif-invby GeneralEComment: The simple shots create some lovely abstracts by themselves, & work very well with the flip'n'blend technique. I always enjoy these. |

spring breakby bspurgeonComment: This photo (& others like it) has inspired me to add a new detail to my voting routine. I leave it up on the screen, take a break, & when I come back I can see it fresh, from across the room. Kind of like what would happen if I would walk up to it in a gallery. This gives me an opportunity to admire & appreciate the shapes created by highlights & shadows before I get lost in the details. This photo is gorgeous from across the room--very rich mid-tones--& the details are not bad, either! Hope you had a nice spring break! |

Comida Solitariaby markwileyComment: A lovely collection of lines & tones. I like the way she is silhouetted against the wall. |
