Resignationby vawendyComment: There are many interesting comps in this challenge. This one is a standout for its air of exploration & discovery. The story it tells is an abstract one. The artist discovers new facets of her Self thru the adventures of self-expression. Please accept this Flying Pig Best in Show for this Expert FS.

When the model stops hiding her face from the camera & instead faces it boldly, it becomes quite photogenic. So, I learned from this comp that it's not the face itself that's photogenic, it's the attitude. Message edited by author 2016-03-22 10:18:21. |

Mystic Koiby digifotojoComment: Effective graphic, it's like they are dancing with their shadows, or forming endless moving glyphs, secret messages. And that blood-red color is a perfect choice to set them off.

Splash by JudiComment: O look at all the energy in this and I'm delighted to see the veils & trails of water. Fire and water. Dark and light. Someone is dancing like no-one can see her.

0530by MelethiaComment: This is fascinating to look at. Very un-photographic in nature. Strong abstract qualities. It draws my eye without answering anything for my mind. I have a small, nagging, worry that this is a photo of an existing artwork. I hope you made some Notes for my curious mind.
Please accept this Flying Pig HM.

Thanks for the Notes. I could not think of how anyone would get a chance to photograph so large a crowd :D or how the art deco feeling got in there :D or where the person in the hoodie came from. To me it looked like a 1920's ballroom, except of course for the smiley face balloons. And the light is excellent. I see now the freeway details, but not before. Anyway, it just proves (again) that the best camera is the one in your hand. Good eye. Message edited by author 2016-03-22 08:42:26. |
