I love the DOF and the composition of the flowers in the basket. I think it would pop if it was on a color background like a soft blue or sage green. It feels like the background should be white.

I really like the sweep and the lighting. I want to turn my head for some reason. Maybe a quarter turn counter clockwise?

I actually don't mind the hot petals. The rest of the image is great enough to carry it. Besides, it shows the petals soaking up the sun... like solar panels. ;)

The texture on the blossom is spectacular. I really love it.
There seems to be to much on the left side for me. I would crop it in closer to focus on the star of the show.

My FS has purple in it, I guess I will take my chances. This is most excellent shot! I love the focus, the light and the composition. The green background stands out over the purple to me. Its a minor element in the overall show. I would enter it anyway!
