Week 28 - Pirate Ship

Well, slowly getting round to commenting on my return from holiday. I like this for so many reasons, the lovely curved lines being the primary reason, but also the grain of the wood gives an illusion of some kind of motion blur. I like this very much.

I've been a bit behind with my commenting, so sorry for only now getting round to it. What intrigues me most about this image is it is tack sharp and yet it appears to have been taken with a soft focus lens. As I see it, only the very foreground is soft. I really like the effect of this. I love the b&w conversion. Well spotted.

This has a very green colour cast to it on my monitor(s). I have checked on both my mac and my work pc. If this is the look you are going for then that's fine, just thought I'd mention it though, in case you were not.
