Wintering Tillamookby skewsmeComment: This one has wonderful wowee lines! The fact the lines are a combination or dark and light as opposed to really hard lines makes this a spectacular shot. The tones are terrific too and the boaters are just icing on the cake. |

Green Leavesby sherpetComment: Wonderful detail and texture on this one. I also really liked the layering of the background elements. Nice hints of blue too. |

The Way Home by LalliSigComment: I like this one as it has a nice balance in the frame. Good shapes, lines and textures are all balanced nicely. |

Concrete Corn Coronaby swankFotoComment: This is actually a pretty stunning shot. I am surprised it did not do better for you. While the processing is good, the composition really steals the show. The repeating forms, the repeating shapes in the vignette, and the plane/shooting star adds that excellent added punch.

in the spotlightby k4ffyComment: I really like the lighting, and the little detail you brought out by having it slightly underexposed. It really gives this a sense of place. |

Art Intimating Natureby raishComment: You have two frames going on here, cheater. ;)
For some reason, I think a lot of these voters need to go to a photog class and then take a bit on framing. Rule of thumb though, complex composition = bad news. Well, at least here on DPC, but I keep shooting them anyways.
As for the actual shot, it is brilliant. Not sure why people don't get shots like this. Personally, this one does not even need a title, the image is self explanatory and absorbing. Oh well. |

In Ice, Light, and Shadowby colorcarnivalComment: Haha, I saw this in the challenge and had a feeling it was you. I need to start calling these out when voting. :0
I think this is wonderfully framed. It si out of the ordinary, yet at the same time still prominent. Oh well. Next time carry a picture frame with you |
