The Year Afterby EvanHComment: One of my favorites in the challenge. The best group portrait here. Wonderful lighting and placemen to the individuals. Highly rated. |

Smirkyby jenesisComment: Good control of the light. Good control of focus. Some of the nose shadows look a little unnatural, but doubt this would come up in printing. Wonderful photo and highly rated. |

Sheby Joey LawrenceComment: Terrific pose and lighting. I also like the addition of the prop. The only things I don't like are the arms cut off (the hand on the top is like a zombie hand). Still a very high rating. |

Nieces eyesby Fokus23Comment: Wonderful capture. The lighting is terrific, I like the idea of the scarf (or whatever it is). The only thing keeping it back is the dark blob to the left which both cuts into the face and is still visible against the background. Still a highly rated photo. |

Looking Downby jlapinComment: I love the pose of the child on the right. I love the pose of the child in the middle. The one on the right ruins it for me. I realize that the candid was the intent? Still the tone and lighting are nice. Above average rating. |

Wave Runnerby lynnesiteComment: I've seen several photos from this same "Art in Motion Workshop". They are all stunning, not atter the photographer. The stop action is great. Horizon is a little off kilter, but still a stunning photography. Are you familiar with Mary Cornelius? Highly Rated. |

Becomingby tateComment: Great lighting and great B&W toning. I think the edges are too sharp for this resolution though. The child seems to pop unnatural off the background. Still above average rating. |

Dressageby piaffe529Comment: This is a good capture. I take a few dressage pictures myself every once and a while. I'm curious though, if you shoot dressage alot? If so would you quantify this as your best dressage picture? It is a wonderful stop action, but best of 2006? Still, for technique I'll give an above average rating. Good luck to you. Cheers. |
