I will surviveby StagoleeComment: I love the idea here. The tree has a very interesting structure which I like accented by the back lighting. I think the image is just over-exposed by a stop. Since there is no detail in the tree anyways, might a well make it a full silhoutte. Greens are pretty and the whole thing is nicely composed. Above average from me. |

The Creatureby Marc923Comment: 1940's sci-fi. Yikes, watch out. Love the detail on the scales here. Lighting is terrific, and that claw amazing. This is the perfect type of motion still type photography. You'll probably get pounded by the head police, but I like how you can just see a bit of the lower jaw. It makes your imagination run wild what the thing really look like. Roar! High rated. |

Here it comes again....by Darkend_SwordComment: I like the idea going on there. Though I think the image suffers from either being a bit too wide or you need to get close to those tress in front of you. I do like the varied textures of the tress, moutain, and the nice fluffly clouds. It just seems to be missing anchors to hold the frame together. An average rating from me. |

By the seaby lastefComment: The effect you created here, a watterfal in a flat body of water is amazing. It gives alot of interest to the scene. Given that I think the image is a bit too blue in regards to the white. Maybe change the while balance to "cloudy"? Some might argue about the centralized horizon, but it is fine here since you have other anchors around the photography. Maybe a slight contrast increase, not much. Still a wonderful composed picture with alot of interest. Highly rated. |

Identityby xianartComment: I like this image. It has that late emerging pop art style. The fingers really bring together the image. I like the colors here. This is one of the best uses of "expert editing" and for that alone should have been scored higher. I like the overall tone of the image here, almost a seductive look embodied with a flash of fury. Wonderful photo. |

Did he say the cosine divided by the hypotenuse?by ElaineComment: On of my favorites in the challenge. Way under rated. If this isn't minimalism people are confused. Alot better than the negative space images out there. Terrific linem, great repeating patterns. Maybe just a brightness/contrast enhancement, but this shot is superb. |

Many Minisby noranekoComment: This was one of my favorites in the challenge too! An excellent use of fill the frame. Colors, lines, patterns. It is all there. This should have been top 10 in my opinion. I really liked this one alot! One spectacular photo.
Incidently, this was on 2nd favorite in the challenge. I demand a recount. Message edited by author 2007-02-02 11:44:30. |

Entrance for the final exitby quiet_observationComment: An interesting shot. What makes it interesting is the chain and lock. I actually did not notice it the first time, and took a bit to see it here this 2nd time. I think that is really the key to the shot. I think an 8x10 crop would have given it a bit more focus, taking the top off slightly. Other than that it is a well composed shot. I like the slight cruves in the pillars and the nice repeating patterns in the door. A simple composition that actually has more going on to it after a 2nd take. |

Loneby skewsmeComment: This was one of the standout's for me in the challenge. I really like what you captured here. The wolf is amazing. I think it is funny you commented on the bokeh, that was the only thing that was out of place when I voted. I wasn't quite sure what it was. No biggie, still a great photo. I like the subdued clolrs and the nice contrast in the wolf. Excellent shot! Congrats on the high ranking. |
