Make A Wishby noranekoComment: A wonderful picture. I really like the idea here. Very simplistic style, yet the "bubble" creates a lot of interest. Terrific blue background. Interesting, curious how you did it. |

Dance Dance Revolutionby WLU07Comment: I gave this a 7 in the challenge. I think it is nearly perfect the way it is. A well composed shot. Love the lean. |

Red Letter Dayby stevieianComment: My highest rated image in the challenge. Love the elements and nice use of the frame. Sure, it seems a little staged but is a stunner none the less. I normally don't like back shots, but this one works I think mainly because of the hand print on the wall which gives it a great sense of context. Highly rated. |

White Sunby noranekoComment: All I can say that technically it is perfect, compositional nearly perfect. However, I think it is like writing the next "Great American Novel", it is hard not to tread on other's ideas. Wonderful shot though, and it really shows that you do have a great command of your camera and your subject. A terrific score for a wonderful picture. Congrats. |

Submarine Shipyardby levyj413Comment: Terrific shot. I love the idea. I think the placement of the items is perfect. It is amazing even though I knew what it was. One thing, just a thought... it would be interesting to see if you could setup a flash on the floor to shine on that "camera thing" in the middle. I would keep everything else the same. For some reason it is just begging the light treatment on that one spot. A terrific photo nonetheless and one that is amazing that you managed to see the potential before you! |

Babe in Armsby HipychikComment: Somehow hipychick, you have managed to make this one of the best movement photos I have seen in a Low Key shot. It is amazing how you managed to engage the viewers eye throughout the frame. Very concentric circles, amazing. This is one of those special setups that is truly unique. Wonderful! |

Shadow danceby seeComment: Visually a very striking image with a ton of mood. I generally hate "negative space" images, but this one doesn't qualify in my opinion, the whole left side looks like it is one fire. I makes the whole frame come alive, even though it is subtle. I guessing the lower score had to do with voters idea of LowKey... Still congrats, an image that will keep it's worth over time! |

frozen water, water frozenby posthumousComment: Personally, I think the images is near perfect. It is actually intriguing, unique, and not your typical "I've seen that shot before". While a lot of times you'll see photos that are "artsy/unique" they often loose out in composition. This photo, though has them both. Compositional it is perfect, so much interest, great understanding of the shutter and depth. I don't get this one, should have scored in the sixes.
If I had to name one thing (hey I always put in my meager 1 cent), would be to crop off a smidgen of top just before the ice heads back to the left, this way you get a clean line to the top of the frame. Even then that is minor. Silly voters. |

No Swimming, No Skatingby xianartComment: Tough one, shooting into the sun with B&W, but you managed to pull it off extremely well. A good variety with depth and textures really helped this one. Really, the feeling of depth is superb. A terrific image! Message edited by author 2007-03-10 01:29:00. |
