This is a good idea with the tree framing the shot. I also like the side lighting. B&W conversion? Going for no comments during challenge?

Nice HighKey shot. Nice pose and very fun expressions. Good catch light in the eyes. It all adds up to a very nice portrait.

The colors and contrast really make the subject pop. I might try a few different compositional takes. While this one is good I think a slightly different angle might help. Still the technicals are wonderful

Great feeling of depth in this shot. I like the frame within a frame feeling going on here. Tonality is terrific and the varying textures keep interest. The expression on the child is priceless.

A very good "Americana" type shot. I think would have been a wonderful fit for the "Cultural Events" challenge. It doesn't have of the wow factor needed for the typical FreeStudy challenge. A nice capture of hobbyist passion.

This is one of those photos that breaks the mold. At first it seems a High Key study, but there are alot of low key elements. Seems like a strange mix, but seems to work. I might think on how to incorporate this into some of my shots. The slight touch of blue is nice. It is a very intriguing picture which gets better upon further examination.

As a quick by voting in dpchallenge though, it is easy to overlook the finer points in the shot.

I think this would have worked extremely well in symmetry. Seems .llike we always miss the "right" challenge in just a few days. I think this is a very nice capture. Good detail and a ton of interest. A little abstract, but that is what really makes this photo stand out.

This is a terrific idea. I think with just a little more post work this could really be a 1 in a million shot. Can't help you there though since I don't know PhotoShop for the life of me. Compositionally this shot has it all, wonderfully combined images.

A good visual aid to remember. Classrooms should print this out and have it hanging up. Great concept.
