GREAT use of the expert rules! To me though, the photo is more scary then harsh. I'm sure you'll do good. I'm not voting but I'd give it a 9 - the edit around the fingers hanging over the edge could be better. Your photo would deserve a 10 but it's the little things (so I've learned) that take away from a perfect photo. Attention to detail. Good luck to ya!

If I were voting, I'd give your photo a 9.5 and since that is impossible, I'd bump it up to 10. Even though the photo is sad...it hits the challenge right on the head. Sorry, no pun intended. Honestly, the photo looks like a snapshot and not harsh to me. It looks like a nice deserted beach where I'd like to be - the water looks very nice. It's a nice photo but did you use any expert editing? I don't think so, maybe I'm wrong. I rarely vote in challenges I've entered and I'm not breaking the rule for this challenge. If I were voting I'd start your photo out at a 4 because imho, it's not harsh. But, I'd bump it up to a 6 just because it's a nice photo.

I am hesitant to comment but I told myself I would comment on every photo in this challenge. It's hard for me to see the 'harshness' - that belt looks kinda fancy as well as the girl is wearing jewelery. I don't understand the title although I can take a good guess at the innuendo. As for the photo, the quality is very good, the lighting, focus and color are nice too. Maybe if the shot were wider? Anyway, I'm not voting on this challenge - I rarely vote in challenges I participate in. If I were voting, I'd give it a 6.

Wow...very, very nice...I mean harsh! Wow...I love it. I think with expert editing you could have cloned the top-most wire out and had a photo worth an eleven. I do regret to tell you that I don't or rarely vote in challenges I enter which I do have a submission for in this challenge. If I were voting, I'd give you a 10 - your photo would be my pick for the blue ribbon. I will say, I'm saving your photo to favs and best of luck to you!
