Second photo in the challenge that I'm almost positive was taken in Utah. Very nice observation. Too bad for basic edit - I think this could have been a stunner with advanced. Going with a 7

It's gotta be Utah. It looks a little out of focus to me. I think a conversion to B&W, heavy on the contrast and some sharpening would really have improved your photo. That's just me though. So, is it Utah?

I love aviation photography, in the past I've tried to avoid voting on them. To me, this is beautiful. Knowing the challenge called for basic editing, I might have tried a different angle to avoid the sky - I think it's lack of color and slight noise detract from the overall beauty. I'll go with better then average and give it an 8.
