engines pumping and thumping in time, the green light flashes, the flags go up, churning and burning the reach for the cup. Cake - nobody knows that song - too cool! It's not the greatest photo: too much blue in the rims of the big car. I think some burning might have also helped in the body. I like frames, I almost always think they improve the overall image. But, you've got a great observation here and too funny! There is really nice focus on the toy car and nice dof. I hope it does well for you!

I wonder if anybody noticed the subtle 'religious' symbols strategically placed on the shower curtain? There is that 'fish' that looks curiously like a christian symbol I've seen on the backs of cars in the form of bumper stickers or magnetic signs and also the 'star' which very much resembles an ancient egyptian symbol called a 'Duat' that represented the place where the Sun God Ra travelled thru the heavens.

Man...this is better then TV! - I mean the comments to this photo. Hey, I got the same comment below to my 'Religious' photo - and so did about 50 other people - I stopped going thru his 'comments made' at about page 5. I feel slightly jaded that it was not an original comment made directly to me and to me alone! My gosh, I hope we never have a 'Weather' challenge!

Ok, here's a comment about the photo alone disregarding the subject matter. It's not bad I would have given it a 7 had I voted in this challenge. Blue Moon is right about 'painting with light' however, my personal feeling is it's not cool. Adding to jprhea25's comment - if you would have inverted the Pentacle, then it would have represented the titles implications - Satanism. The Pentacle is not an anti-christian symbol. It is a symbol for Earth-based 'religions'. It is a symbol I wear. Your photo did well in the challenge - another testament that people in general are mostly gazers.

Once, somebody made a comment to one of my photos that the title was offensive. Just to let you know, I don't find your photo/title offensive - just misrepresentive. To bad it's now forever carved in stone in the DPC records. Please, be more careful next time and Brightest Blessings to you.

Hmmm? I really don't like 'people' photos that much and most of the time skip over them. But this one caught my eye for sure. The colors, contrast, lighting and focus are very good. I think it deserves at least an 8.
