Since 'Miss Adriane' skipped over your photo, I've decided to leave one. I never really know what kind of comment to post. So...overall, it's a great photo: as far as the lighting and contrast go - excellent. I do think it could be a little sharper. What 'hurts' the image, to me, is the composition or maybe crop - it's seems rather busy and has nothing that draws your eye to one spot. But, I live in the desert and the only Flamingo's in Las Vegas is the Flamingo Casino. So, to me, the photo is something interesting to look at and makes me wish I had more wildlife to study. Thanks for sharing this photo with us! - Is that ok? If not, I'll change it to whatever you want. Just let me know! };>)

I'm not normally a 'people' photog either. Nor do I really like to see them in challenges. But, here at DPC - it's a fact of life. So, I've learned to 'like' them? If it makes you feel better about the 'Speed Challenge - Free Study', I gave this photo a 9 - it's a perfect photo. That's why were here right - to take technically good photos.

Hmm? Not really sure what kind of comment you would like. Wow, I just realized it was in a Free Study Challenge and got no comments - that seems very strange to me! Anyway, I think what 'hurt' it was the composition. I think there should have been more space below the boat? It looks like it has some high flying birds - they might have been taken for sensor dust? The colors are very nice. Maybe the blue part of the sky could have been more blue? The focus is very, very nice. But hey, what they heck do I know?!?!?!?! Hope that helps somewhat...
