It's a clever photo and title and not a bad photo by any means. I think a more interesting shot would have been to focus more on that big boat and forget about the bird. But, that's just me.

For me, the overall photo is great. But, something is not perfect and it may be my monitor (???). The photo seems oversharpened in some areas and not sharpened enough in others. I really like the border and soft, earthy tones.

What a wonderful looking place and a very nice photo of it. The conversion works but living in the desert I hardly ever get to see water and am wondering what the original would look like. For the challenge, I'll score your photo at 9. I think the focus on the rower could be just a tad bit sharper.

What, are you crazy? Boats don't grow in the desert! You should get to the hospital and see a Doctor! (My son really liked your photo - he knows where you took it. Me, I don't venture to far from downtown.) I think if you would have brightened the photo a little, it would have brought out the nice yellow colors better making for a higher scored photo. The overall composition and idea of the photo are great!
